Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy – Professor+

1. Scope

This policy applies to all tutoring and educational services provided by Professor+, including:

  • individual online lessons,

  • prepaid lesson packages,

  • group courses or workshops,

  • and monthly tutoring subscriptions.

2. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, clients have a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the date of payment, during which they may cancel their order without providing any reason.

However, this right does not apply once the service has been fully or partially performed before the end of the withdrawal period.
Therefore, any lessons already delivered cannot be refunded.

3. Refund conditions

A refund or credit may be granted under the following conditions:

  • The request is made within 14 days from the payment date.

  • Unconsumed lessons may be refunded or credited in full.

  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.

  • In the case of packages or subscriptions, only unused hours may be refunded or credited.

Refunds are generally issued as credit toward future lessons, unless the client specifically requests a monetary refund.

4. Lesson cancellation or rescheduling

  • A lesson can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before its scheduled start time.

  • Any cancellation made less than 12 hours in advance, or no-show without notice, will be charged in full and non-refundable.

  • In case of valid justification (e.g., illness, technical issue), a reschedule may be offered, subject to tutor availability.

5. Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date of acceptance.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original order, or as a credit applicable to future services.
No additional fees will be charged for the refund.

7. Exceptions

No refunds will be granted in the following cases:

  • Lessons already delivered.

  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the session.

  • Withdrawal from a group course after it has started.

  • Failure to attend a lesson without notice.
